pet of the week

Daisy is a very affectionate and devoted Border Collie looking for her meant to be forever family. She is spayed, micro chipped, appropriately vaccinated and treated for parasites. Sadly, Daisy and her friend Lily were terribly neglected before being rescued from an owner who planned to shoot the dogs. Daisy was diagnosed with heartworm positive but has been treated for the nasty disease and is now healthy. The sweet girl is eager to please those who are kind to her. She is house trained, gets along with other animals and loves people of all ages. Lily has found her family while Daisy waits for hers.

Thank you for considering the adoption option. The Hart County Humane Society is grateful for those who don't drive by an animal in distress but stop to offer help. Even a call to the sheriff’s department for animal control is a rescue call.
