pet of the week

Dolly is a very sweet and quiet Lab mix. Mostly white with piecing blue eyes, you can almost see into her broken soul. Abandoned by her family she is timid of strangers at first meetings but warms up quickly to those who show her kindness. Dolly is spayed, heart worm negative, micro chipped, appropriately vaccinated and treated for parasites. This gentle dog is a volunteer favorite at the J. Robert Mauldin Animal Sanctuary. Please consider meeting our Dolly, you might just fall in love.

If you would like an application, or more information, please call 706-436-0965 or email hartcohumane@yahoo.com.

Applications to adopt a Hart County Humane Society pet can be found here or at Three Trees Veterinary Services at 1087 E. Franklin St. in Hartwell.

Thank you for considering the adoption option. The Hart County Humane Society is grateful for those who don't drive by an animal in distress but stop to offer help. Even a call to the sheriff’s department for animal control is a rescue call.
