The Hart County Humane Society recently celebrated the heart of Katherine Peppers. A love of animals and passion for the ones in need are carried with Katherine daily. As a school teacher, she takes every opportunity to show her students how compassion and empathy can make our world a better place. During summer break Katherine volunteered with foster dogs giving them opportunities for adoption. Being a caring role model and teaching by example are valuable lessons for our future leaders. The Hart County Humane Society is an all volunteer rescue organization. We are honored to have Katherine Peppers as a volunteer.
